Hey folks!We attended AnthroCon 2009 in Pittsburgh, PA early in July. I’m not surprised that none of us got a chance to update anything; we were all very busy drawing as usual! We had a blast, though. I’m going to pester Kim who had a camera to post things on here :p  The next Kikibee will be held at my family’s cottage. It’s up north of Montreal, Quebec. However, we won’t have internet access there. We will be forced to work hard and relax even more The cottage is located on a cliff next to a lake surrounded by nature. We’re all really excited for it! Hopefully Mother Nature will inspire us and give us energy to make lots of beautiful work… and to finish all of our commissions, haha. I personally have enough commissions to keep me busy so I will not be opening any more slots. Keep checking for photos and updates on our next big adventure!

We will be meeting at Kim’s place this weekend! We may even be lukcy enough to get a good chunk of time on Friday, thanks to merciful work schedules We plan to live stream our art making at Kikibee for the first time! We’re busy busy busy getting ready for Anthrocon; making tons of new art, original and other, so that we have something new to come to the convention with! We have webcams and uStream accounts and will be showing our progress as the weekend progresses. Updates will be posted here, so check in again this coming weekend.

Our next KiKiBee meet is fast approaching! This weekend will be a full weekend starting Friday night and continuing on until Sunday night. I think our goal for this meet should be to actually post some photos and more art previews us working in progress! I will make a note to bring my webcam and keep everyone updated <3

We are also considering registering for Anthrocon this year! It is still a maybe, but we’re going to do our best to make it down there this year, possibly showing up as Kikibee as well. Fingers crossed!

—>  We’re planning on upping the frequency of our KiKiBee meets, to have a ‘light’ version once a month where we get together for one full day on a weekend. Then we would continue having our full meetings (an entire weekend) every 2 or 3 months.

We’re looking at having our next full meet on either of the last two weekends in January, at which we’ll most likely set the dates for our next meets for 2009.

December 6-7 is our next Unfortunately because I am using the time to make Christmas cards, I cannot open up any slots for commissions.
